mother's visa rejected

Hi,

My mother's visitor visa got rejected in Nov-2003 when my uncle sponsored her. Only my mother went to visa at that time. Her visa got rejected for the reasons of 214(b).

Now I am sponsoring both of my parents. They are planning to go some time next month(trying for the appointment). My father is now retired and working in a private firm. Is it better to tell he is retired or working?

Anyone have other suggestions or tips for this time, will be greatly appreciated.

thanks

It is always good to establish that your father is not only retired but also gainfully employed at this time. He needs to show papers related to his pension if any and also documents related to his present employment. They need to carry proof of any houses they own or any other property.

He should also be prepared with a good explanation how he can take leave of absence from his present job.

Refer to the 'immihelp.com' and you would find a complete list of documents that they need.

Re-apply letter

Since my mother's visa got rejected once, do I have to send the Re-apply letter for her this time. IS this a requirement?

thanks
