Most of MD cases transferred to local office for interview?

Just called lawyer office minutes ago and was told most of MD cases will be transferred to local office for interview. Is it true?

Most of Sept'2001 onwards - MD cases have been already transferred to Baltimore.

Why they do this only to MD region? Anyone has an analysis?

My RD is 09/04/2001 -- transferred to Baltimore.
I have seen RDs even upto Feb 2002 transferred to Baltimore.
Wish I had filed it ONE working day before, would have got an RD of 08/31 and who knows would have been done wih GC by now..

The only reason I can think of these transfers, is that VSC is distributing their workload, but why only Baltimore (MD) beats me!

Checked AVM last night and still old msgs:"FP.. received..resumed.."

A friend with RD Sep 26,01(Maryland) just checked AVM and his case was transfered to Baltimore office on 08/07/02.

As per Murthy chat , Baltimore has voluntered to help VSC by trasnfering 485 cases.
