More than a month after 3rd FP

NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am still to receive anything from the Local office.
To further rub salt on the wounds they have replied to My attoney's inquiry
as " Case is Pending security and other checks"
THis one is really funny because on my Infopass way back in dec 2005 the immigration officer had told me Categorically that all back ground checks on my case were complete.
Then out of the Blue they send me Code 1 FP notices....... and then nothing.
USCIS is playing sadistic games now.
I was out of the loop not thinking about my GC ( even after 2 1/2 years of my interview) and they remind me and make me go through this frustrating pain after they send me second FPs.( or rather 3rd FP notices)
On top of that they have not yet renewed my EAD applied way back in end of NOvember.I recd Biometerics for those BTW

forgot to add that the renewal of my EAD is still pending.
I dont think my employer would have a probelm but my wife is a teacher. it is clearly stated that her contract would not be extended if she does not produce a renwed EAD before the expiry date

I have 2 more question if anyone can answer it.
Is it possible they are doing FP for EAD renwals ?
IMportant question.
Once you do your 2nd or 3rd FP Do they do your Back ground check or Name again. Because if they are doing that I am royally screwed as it took almost 3 years ( if it was done ) to clear the first one.
