Help would be greatly appreciated.
My case was approved on Sept 13 (according to the USCIS e-mail and case status web site).
The USCIS information also tells that the approval notice was sent to my address on the same date. I have yet to receive the approval notice (after 11 days). I checked the address with the USCIS- they have my correct address on file. Responding to my request USCIS sent me a fax that stated that my case was approved. A IIO even told me that I could stamp my pasport with this fax (sounds strange).
The question is : do you know any precedents when somethimng like this happened, and people were able to stamp passport without approval notice ?
I was told that I can not travel abrod until I stamp my passport...
