I went in for the appointment on September 22nd and we had our interview that same day. The immigration officer however asked that we submit copies of plane tickets to prove that we were visiting each other before we got married. She also mentioned that this should not affect the letter to schedule our FP or the entire process.

Has anyone had this happen before? and was there a delay?

Hi!
I think this is fairly normal. We were asked to submit additional evidence that we were living together. Just send it in as soon as possible!
And no, it shouldn't delay the processing time.

Hi, DALLASBM Did they give you a Congratulation letter or something similar? so you remember the name of the officer? was she an hispanic girl?
