Here is a little more info. CIA search is not a mere search in some cia database. But this involves background search in countries where applicant has stayed for more than six months in his lifetime. The searches in local countries not allies of US is done by affiliated agencies. The whole process takes 16-18 months.
With so many background search notices one wonders how CIA will be able to handle the work load..
This means that we have to wait another 16-18 months. My suggestion to all is to find alternative place to immigrate. Like Canada, Australia or New Zealand.

Thats great news I thought it might be 3-4 years.
Why dont you immigrate to another country first and then we'll join you :D

Stop scaring ppl, whoever you are. We all want you immigrate to Iraq, so CIA can spend time on you exclusively.

CIA is not as mighty as you think, can check everything in every country. and has time to check every single case filed.

Maybe they'll check yours only. You know ppl cheat others always get himself hurt.
 
People are giving importance to "news" of baba as if it is from BBC.
Do you think the news comes up to the level of this baba, and not known to others ? simply silly...
For those ( if at all there ) who believe this baba-news and "scared" ... you are mistaken. Start reading from source atleast from authentic lawers sites..
 
Does anyone know what is the CIA background check about? I thought it starts when you file an application,
so Nov Rd should be cleared by now. (1 year already)

I think it is a good news , rather i iwsh they tahke 3-5 years so till that time u can live hassle free in this country.
