I've been trying to dig into Kashmir's wealth of Info. I did a little comparison between the results on 5/30 versus 5/23 (one week).

39 -2 (Cannot understand why this is negative) .. ignored

(Data beyond this, Kashmir added a lot of fresh cases, so it is not used in the comparison, though a sizable # of approvals in wac 150ish).

For wac02-01 to wac02-100

Total approvals: 14
Total working days: 4

Approvals a day: 3.5
Less than wac-02-100 total unapproved cases: 8046
Days required to clear that: 2298 working days = 8.81 years (Not counting holidays except weekends).


For wac02-01 to wac-02-50
Total approvals: 10
Total working days: 4
Approvals a day: 2.5
Less than wac-02-50 total unapproved cases: 2872
Days required to clear that: 1148.8 working days = 4.4 years (Not counting holidays except weekends).


Conclusion,
a) The last week sucked, royally.
b) The wait times are RIDICULOUS at the current pace.
 
I think also that the only reliable source here is Kashmir prodigious work. The only one conclusion is that we cannot have too many hopes for any approvals of our cases any time soon. We should hope that something will change soon, and de 485 cases will become a priority.

The rumor with the 7 was saying that thay will need 2 weeks of training. Monday is the day when they were supposed to start working. Is true that BCIS changed a lot of things to become more efficient. What we need is that the 485 cases become a priority.
 
Hi Folks

I have been a silent visitor to this site and greatly appreciate the work being done by kashmir and others. I had a question on interpreting the data- how do we know which of these are approvals for the primary appicant and which are for dependent. If a dependents 485 app is filed a few months after the primary app, will it be processed along with pri applicant or in the order of the WACs. If it is processed in the order of the WACs then indeed CSC picks up appications at random.

Pointer there is no definitive way of knowing. You can say, that they should get approved together ..but can never be sure.
