Montreal Consular Processing

Sorry to bother you all….

I understand this thing was discussed several times in the forum. But I still have one question.

I have received Packet-3. I am a current resident (landed immigrant) of Canada, work and live in Canada. Citizen of India. National Interest Waiver-Montreal consular processing.

Questions:

1. Can I get a Name and DOB checks Police Clearance Certificate (RCMP) and then send my Packet 3 to NVC? OR Do I need a (RCMP) Finger Print Clearance? (That takes about 150 days).

2. If can use a Name and DOB check PCC, then how to get it?

3. I resided in India till 1997; do I need a PCC from Indian Consulate?

4. My wife is a dependent on the petition? Do I need to fill out an affidavit of support for her?

Please advice. Thank you so much in advance

1- if you live in Canada then name check is enough.
2- You need to go to the local police startion to get that
3- You need a PCC from India if you have lived there for more than 6 months before turning the age of ( 16 i think)
4- I think you need an affidavt of support for your wife.

{I am not familiar with this subject. Browse the Montreal
Thread for information}

3. I resided in India till 1997; do I need a PCC from Indian Consulate?

{Yes. You would need the PCC from the Indian Consulate.
Approach your nearest consulate}

4. My wife is a dependent on the petition? Do I need to fill out an affidavit of support for her?

{You need to submit form I-134 (AoS) for her. This needs
to be notarized. }

Please advice. Thank you so much in advance
