Montreal - Consular processing procedure

Recently I've applied for I-824 to transfer my case to Montreal , Canada for consular processing and received my I-824 recept,

Question to you is:
Can I send consular processing application materials to National VISA Center for review, schedule an appointment and then forwards the case along to the Montreal consulate.

What is normal I-824 and CP Processing procedures in montreal

I can only comment on the I-130 process through Montreal. You really don't do anything on your own, only what the NVC in Portsmouth tells you to do. The NVC will advise you exactly what they want and you send it in. When your file is complete, the NVC will forward your case to Montreal who will schedule it. You will be advised if Montreal needs anything well before your interview date. You can ask questions and find out what you will need here but you need to wait until the NVC requests a document.
