When I have applied for my passport, I have used our family name (sir name) as the last name for my mother under the column "Name of Mother". My mom is currently working as a school teacher in India and all her academic records and working history are in her maiden name. So the passport also shows her name as the maiden name only. Now that she is planning to apply for a travel visa, her name on my passport and her passport are not matching. How should I deal with this issue? Any useful contributions are appreciated.
