Moderation made on DS260 forms.

Hello everyone.
it is great to be here...now straight to the point, I won DV2020 and submitted my DS260 form on the 23th of May 2020. Today morning I logged into the CEAC portal again just to have a look at my already submitted form and noticed with disbelief that I seemed to have omitted complete information on the Social Media section. So, I send an email to KCC, asking how I could get my application back on track and they replied they could unlock my form.

I dug the internet further and realized some bloggers mentioned that the section of social media was introduced on the 30-31st of May( wonder if this date is accurate too). Given that my application was submitted a few days before this and on my present form on CEAC, it seemed to have the section, I am not entirely sure if i actually skipped the section, or if it was added after I had submitted and even so it appearance there signifies I should include the information. will it be a wise idea to unlock my form given the circumstance? My case number is 2020AF39XXX.

Please advice.

I'm not sure of the exact dates but it was added after 2020 winners were announce.
If you successfully submitted your form and were not required to add social media information there is no need to unlock and add it - but be prepared that they may/can ask for this during the interview.

If however KCC are in the process of unlocking your DS-260 you will need to add this information in before you can resubmit
