Mistake in passport and CPR document

I got Passport back from Buffalo after Visa stamping. There is mistake in My wife's middle Name. Middle name is wrong on Visa and CPR document.

I am planning to send Fax to them explaining that there is error on Name.

Has anyone come across similar situation and how long does it take to correct the mistake

I got same mistake

I got also mistake on my wife last name. I sent fax and wait 1 week. they I decided to send back CPR document and passport. I have sent then same day I got fax reply saying that it can be corrected at POE.

after two days I have received my wife passport back with letter saying that send with my passport in gray envalope.

I sent and got corrected in 1 week.
