Mistake in I-129

My company has filed for my extension but they have made mistake in I-129. They put the wrong entry and expiry dates. My entry date was 02/26/2007 and my TN expires on 02/25/2008. The I-129 has 03/26/2007 and 03/25/2008. The extension dates for TN visa are 03/26/2008 to 03/25/2009. When I saw the copy of application I notified my HR but application was already submitted. After receiving the receipt the HR person called USCIS and asked for correction and they did it over the phone. Now my question is.

1- What is the standard procedure to make correction in a pending application.

2- Should I wait and see if they have really accepted the correction on phone? is there any other way to verify it?

3- If correction is not made, what will happen in case application is approved or not approved?

You can just wait and see. If USCIS catches the error, they will send a correction notice.

The only thing to watch for is the 240 day rule.
