Mistake in birthcertificate

Hello all,

What can be done if in birth certificate, year of birth is correct but the day of the month is wrong. (Instead of May 3rd, it is May 1st; year is correct).

What documents are needed? Please help me. Thank you very much.
 
First it is assumed that the BC from home country is correct and mistake is in onlyh translation. is that correct?


second is that certificate been sent to INS with any pettition?

If it is typo in translation, it can be corrected here from any translator service, if the certificate is orgional and from home cuntry it would need to be sent back / or correct from home cuntry.

Or you can ask ur Parents/any relative to make an affidavit of ur birth, its simple , use google search to find sample
