Did any one get any positive news or Green Card through Life Act? Three months ago, I have applied to adjust status through Lulac under Life Act. MSC process these kind of cases. MSC sent an EAD after three months, and transfered my case, i-485, for further processing to our local INS office NY, NY on July 10th.
Any one has any further information about these kind of cases?
Case Details:
Sent my Applications to MSC: 2/13/02
FP notice: 4/30/02
EAD received: 6/17/02
I-485 transfer to NY from MSC: 7/10/02

hi, i am also under the life act, question does any of the documents received by you mention that the papers are being processed at msc, if so can you tell me which one, and how did you know that you case was transfer to local ins, i have not received the receipt for i485, but i am done with fp, and ead.
 
Could you please provide me with little more information.
-Which address did you initially mail your application. Is it Chicago?
-When did you take your finger print?
-Did you have EAD before through Lulac/CSS?
-***Did you get two recipt numbers, one for I-765 and another for I-485? And did these receipt numbers start with MSCxxxxxxxx?
-Are you a Lulac, or a CSS applicant?
-Your area under which Local INS office?
I am waiting for your answer, I have much knowledge about Life Act. But I need these information above to communicate with you.

really dont know which service center, actually it is all the lawyer, while i140 it was in vermont,
fp done in march 2002
done know what is css/lucal?
and the receit # on the i765 starts with eac, that was for the ead
receipt for the i485 have not received it yet
dont know about if the case being transfered to local ins
 
I do not think you submitted your application under Life Act.
All Life Act application has to be mailed in Chicago and from there it get transfered to MSC. MSC does the initial processing and issue EAD and transfer I485 to the Local INS office.
I think, you have applied under 245i extension before April 17th dead line 2001.
Did your employer sponser you?
 
yes u r right aabout me applying before april 17the 2001, and yes my employer sponser me, now what does that mean, and which service center u think my application is being processed
 
If you live in the Eastern are, your case will be processed in Vermont. Case like your takes year or so to get approved. Since your finger print done, I am assuming 6 more months will do. Good luck. Let me know please.
