Did any one get positive news or Green Card through Life Act ?

1> On May 22nd, 2002 we applied through CSS / LULAC
2> On June 18th, 2002 we got finger printed in San Jose, CA
3> MSC recorded received application on 21st June, 2002
4> We received EAD cards from MSC on 10th October, 2002
5> On 21st October they forwarded application to San Jose,CA Local Office for further processing
6> We have heard from various parties that they are calling for one or more interviews asking for more proof or Affidavit for proving your stay during 1981-1987.
7> They do ask from what we have heard your tax returns etc

Does anyone have any information about getting issued Green cards through this process.

Here's my timeline

1) Application for I-485 under LIFE mailed Oct 9, 2001.
2) Application received by MSC on Oct. 17, 2001
3) EAD granted on January 17, 2002
4) Interview at San Jose on July 3, 2002. Officer asked for my information on presence during 1982-1988 and also employer letter.
5) I submitted these information on September 25, 2002.

Since then, I have had no communication from the officer. I've mailed two letters to the interviewing officer asking for a status update, and I have received no reply.
