Hi Guys,

First I would like share happy news, one of my colleagues with WAC-02-001-5xxxx got approved yesterday.

Second thing is, I do not see WAC numbers WAC-02-015-5xxx to WAC-02-030-5xxxxx (some thing in between). Is is because of INS problem with data entry guys etc. If that is the case I am happy mine get processed quick (WAC-02-042-5xxxxx).

Please respond if your WAC number falls between the above mentioned range.

Thanks a lot,

guess no entry is the reason

around the time we submit, there was anthrax crisis in Oct.
data entry was stopped for a while, that was also the reason that most of Oct RD persons got ND in Nov.

mine is RD 10/22, ND 11/18, WAC 043....

My details

Hi !

My details are -

WAC-02-034-xxxxx
RD - OCT 2001
ND - NOV 2001
FP - MAR 2002
FP APPROVED - APR 2002
MESSAGE - same old "999 days"

Hoping for the best to happen to all the GC waiters!

Missing WAC-02- numbers ...

Reason(s) could be:

1. In that time period CSC was working but didn't do any data entry for I-485 cases! (reason could be as "rainlover91125" wrote -that anthrax crisis). Note that WAC# goes with CSC's work day of the year.

2. Here on this board (in summary pages) we have data for app. less than one percent of CSC applicants. So probably we don't have any representation from that time period.

FP approved means...

I called up the IIO and the FBI to confirm that they had got my FP and there were no issues with it.
Its best to be proactive and find out... instead of relying on the AVM for the message "processing resumed".

They should have made a jump in series number

I found that the cases having RD on Oct. 1 were assigned
the number 01-299, 02-001, 02-009 and 02-010. In my case,
RD is Oct. 3, but the number is 02-033. I saw one is 032,
but never saw any from 02-011 to 02-031

Hi Guys The numbering Logic

HI guys can any explain how the numbering works e.g.WAC- 02-0xx-0xxxx

Thanks in advance.
Pal.

I think it may be
02 for 2002 block
xxx- Working days ( 365- holidays - sat & sundays)
Five digit account number ( may be a sequence number)
