missing i94

hi all,
i have a friend who wants to file i130 and i485 concurrently but does not have his i94. he still has his passport with the visa (although expired) with stamp page and all. does he really need to request the i94 before he can start this process or he can use the visa and stamp page inplace of his i94? please help.

This issue has been addressed ad nauseum on this forum including recently. He/She ABSOLUTELY needs the I-94.
