Missing I-20

One of my close friend's wife who has an AOS pending has had an RFE issued to her. She is missing one of her I-20's. Her school insists that she has the original whereas she is sure she has not. They do not seem to have any copies as they do not keep records as far back as she needs. What would you suggest she does. She has recieved an RFE. Incidentally my friend's GC has got approved.

Thanks,

I don't think it's matter at this point as who as the original. She should've kept a copy of the I-20 (as you see this may jeopardize the entire process). They don't require the original I-20, but a copy of it with RFE.

She may have to request full evidence of attending the school for the time period of the I-20 from that school. I'm sure they have that record. And notorized as an evidence of the missing I-20.

Anybody has any other suggestion?

yeppo,

One guy named "MexSeattle" recently got an 485 approval notice email after struggling for a long time with missing I-20. You can read his stories on the following forum: I-485 Issues > 485 Issues in Nebraska Service Center > Tracker, NSC. Good luck!
