Got a letter from the INS requesting missing evidence. I got the interview letter last month - this is a seperate letter.
It asks for proof of my wife's citizenship, tax transcripts, proof of relationship etc. Fair enough. Got all that stuff squared away already.
The thing that concerns me is the bit that says;
"You have indicated that you have been arrested."
I did no such thing!!!
"For those arrests please bring originals or certified copies ofs of all arrest records and court dispositions...."
I checked yes on "Have you ever been arrested, detained or cited..." because I have two speeding tickets from 5 years ago and and old no-insurance ticket from 15 years ago.
Is this a standard letter/verbage?
I have certified copies of the court record for the two speeding tickets, but when I requested a copy of the no-insurance ticket I got a letter back from the court in England saying that the record no longer exists. I also got a fresh copy of my conviction history from the UK police, and it just says; "No convictions" I figured that would be all I need...
