Missed Oath Appointment, Please help

My wife missed citizenship oath appointment due to unavoidable situation in Winnipeg, MB. (Death/funeral of grand mother in India). It was actually a second appointment, as we did not receive the first oath notification letter.

Please help us, what we should we do now? What are the options? Anybody has similar experience?

Write to the CIC. You will have to convince the judge. Start collecting the evidence - for the reason why you missed it. It is upto the judge now...

Where to write?

Thank you. Where to write? The local citizenship office or the main application centre in Sydney, NS?
 
Call the call centre and ask them. If you have a local CIC office, visiting them could prove to be fruitful...
