missed interview

hi cp gurus
due to late info i could not attend my gc interview on 6 march.i did fax them my inability to attend .i gave them my new address in usa on the fax to new delhi. how will i know my new date or is that you can walk in after such a situation after your medical test,or you have to take a date for medical from the embassy again.
tried calling new delhi but it is always engaged .can any tell me what is the best time to call from the east coast and the numbers .
has any one had a similar experience ,any input will be helpful.

When did you get your interview date?

Hi,
Last friday(15 MArch) I got my interview date as 6 May. It is for CP in New Delhi. I believe that the embassy people cover 6-10 days of following month while preparing interview schedule and let them know by phone but do not put that info on their web-site.
Can you tell me when did you come to know about your interview date? Is it in the month of January or in the month of Feb?
