Hi,
I had an interview on June 21st 2007. I moved to the Mid-west from San Jose on June 1st. I had written to the San Jose Center to re-schedule and preferably move it to a service center closer to where I live now. I haven't heard back from them. What should I do ?

Since you moved from San Jose to Mid-West, they probaby would not have interviewed you at San Jose anyways.

Assuming that you called USCIS and let them know about your address change, they will probably move your file to DO nearby you. This will take some time.

Call 1-800 number first, if that doesn't work schedule infopass (infopass.uscis.gov)

When you change address while your N-400 is pending, you need to file an AR-11 and also call the 800 number or make an Infopass appointment to have them update your case. Sounds like you already wrote to the SJ DO to tell them - hopefully you included a copy of the interview notice?

Expect the rescheduling to take a minimum of 3 months; USCIS will not send out a new appointment until you have completed the mandatory 3 month residency in your new district, plus your files have to be transferred.
