My N-400 priority date was July 14, 2004, I had to be out of country for a month from Dec 2nd week to Jan 2nd week, As expected the FP notices arrived on Dec 19th 2004 the day my "hold mail" started, with appointment date on Jan 14, 2005. I arrived on Jan 21 and missed my appointment date, went to application service center the next working day and requested for a fresh appointment. They asked me come in the following saturday afternoon and my FPs were completed. Any ideas when and what are the next steps?

PD - July 14, 2004
FP - Dec 19, 2004

Now you wait for your interview letter. If it does not come in the next 2-3 months, start calling the 800 number.

recommend waiting a bit longer for the interviews.. current PD-interview time is about 13-14 months.. calling the 800 # would be of no help whatsoever - check the uscis.gov processing times or timelines posted in this forum for Washington DC DO processing times

Processing dates are not so up to date. My DO shows July 28, 2004 for N400. My daughter's Receipt Date is October 20, 2004, her interview is scheduled for March 8, 2005. And she is not the only one. If everything goes smoothly, processing N400 takes 5-6 months.
