Missed a citizenship interview

Hello,

I moved to another apartment and missed an interview ( mail was not forwarded in time ).
What would be the best way to resolve this situation:

a) file another petition
b) show up at the INS center and try to talk to an officer myself
c) show up at the INS center with a lawyer?

In case of c) would anybody recommend a local lawyer ( my INS center is in Baltimore ), who can help.

Thanks in advance.

Your best bet is to contact the INS office that sent you the interview notice and explain your situation. You may need to do this in person and in writing (make sure to keep a copy for your reference). By doing so, you may be able to save your case from being denied, because you did not attend your scheduled interview date, nor did you inform them ahead of time of your address change.

Good Luck!
