Misprint on h4 VISA issued-Urgent

:mad: Hi all..my wife was issued h4 visa from chennai consulate..today my wife recieved the passport of h4 vissa issued..my name on the h4 visa was misprint totally..she didn't recieve any forms of correction with the passport..when I did the dropbox in 2000 recieved a form which gave instructions on visa name misprint.. how can this be taken care of..should we schedule a appointment and goto chennai..should we take the dd for entering
chennai consulate..please help

Because it is the mistake of the Consulate, you do not have to pay any fees.
Call them or if your wife is in Chennai itself, she may personally visit the Consulate and let the "gatekeeper" know about the mistake.

Ask her to again take your Original H1B Approval, copy of your passport with your name page and show them THEIR mistake.

They should correct it without any problem.
