Misplaced green card

Hi Im new here and I'm filing an i-751 for my wife, I have all the paperwork and the form filled out but the only problem I have is that my wife cannot find her green card. So we can't send a copy of it with the packet. Does anybody know if this will delay or not approve of this petition??? And does anybody have any ideas or comments as requesting a replacment will take too long.
