My company applied for our 485 application in august. My wife received her EAD card, 485 receipt notice with spelling mistake in her first name (they have mispelt the name as Irne instead of Irene(character 'e' is missing in the first name)). Rest of the information is correct in the EAD.She is planning to join a new job with the EAD card ( with the wrong name). The lawyer has already sent a letter to USCIS with the request to correct the mistake.
My question is :
1) Is it safe for her to take the job with the wrong name in the EAD card or we have to send the EAD card back to the government agancy and ask them to send a new card.
