Mismatch between Passport/ birthcert and Visa

Hello

I am currently on L1 A and am working on CP . I am gathering all the required doc's ( Police records / Birth Certificate's / Medical docs) etc and I have discovered a problem . When my passport was issued 20 years ago it contained only my First and Last names and they omitted my Middle name . My Visa currently lists my First and Last names only .

All the new docs refer to me with my First . middle and Last names . I am concerned that this will be a major issue at the embassy when I travel for CP as the documents will not match perfectly. In addition could this error on my passport impact the current L1-A

I would appreciate any inputs
