Mis-spelled last name on Advanced Parole document - what to do?

Hi all,

Just got my AP docs from NSC and my last name is mis-spelled (last character different).

Anyone run into this situation before? If so, any advice on how to go about getting it fixed? Can I just go to the local INS office?

Send a letter to INS to correct this problem

You can send a letter highlighting the problem to get it fixed. Also make sure that your I-485 receipt is correct. My approval notice has the same problem.

My lawyer has sent a letter to the INS to correct this problem.
