Minor Birth Certificate Issue For I-130 Please Help

Hi,

I just received my citizenship and I am ready to petition my parents. I have all the forms ready, but I noticed on my birth cert. that they had switched my first and middle name.

EX.

real name:

-Ray John Smith

on my birth certificate:

-John Ray Smith

I did do a search here in the forums, but no one had the same experience. I was wondering if its just a simple affidavit from my parents and have it notarized.

Please advise if you have any info and I thank you all in advance. For everyone wating for their citizenship I wish them all good luck and think positive.

Did not you use the same birth cert. when applied for ctznshp? how did your name on the ctznshp cert. come out?

I like to get my records straight and would ask my parents to get me the right birth certf. which then i will use. But if gettign the birth certf is too big of a deal then i will use this one and explain to CIS when they ask.
