Both our cases( my wife and I) were transferrred in July 2002. Can anyone else share their experiences with local transfers in terms of how long, what type of questions....etc

How did you know that your case transffered to local INS? Did you or your attorney receive any letter? What does the letter say?

Got a letter from INS saying " To speed up the process, file is transfered to local INS".

Hi Kumar71,
Did the letter indicate any possible interview dates etc ?? What does your lawyer have to say and do you know the reason why your case was Xfered. Most of the times it happens cause your marriage dates is close to the I-485 filing date. is that a possible reason ??
