hello everyone. I came to the USA on my mother's Indian passport in the early 90s therefore I never had an Indian passport. My name is simply written on my mom's passport. My father became a US citizen in the early 90s which gave me US citizenship so I just got the naturalization certificate & a US passport.
I know I have to fill out the form to get the surrender certificate but do I need to pay an additional $20 for myself even tho I never had an Indian passport? And I changed my first name a few years back, the new name is updated on everything (US passport etc) so should I just send in the name change documents with the form to the consulate since my old name appears on my mother's passport?
