Minimum salary for H!

Hi everyone,

Is there a new minimum salary for H1 qualification? I read somewhere that it is now $60,000. Is it correct??

Wrong

This is wrong. There is no universal minimum standard.

There is a "prevailing wage" for a specific position at the place of employment. Your salary must not be less than that.

Give you an idea, the prevailing wage for a university research scientist (new PhD) in Kentucky is $37,500/year. Fortunately, my paycheck is much fatter.
