I have recently changed my employer & he is offering me LC substitution of one of his X-Employee. I’ll be using it for concurrent filling.
For filing of I485 the lawyer is asking for 3 most recent pay stubs from the current employer.
This new employer of mine keeps a buffer of two weeks with himself & pays on biweekly basis. Means I’ll get my fist pay stub for first two weeks after I have worked for 4 weeks. So in order to get 3 pay stubs I need to WAIT FOR 8 WEEKS, which I would NOT LIKE TO DO.
The lawyer suggested he could go ahead when I’ll receive my first pay stub means 4 weeks.
Let me know you opinion how can I reduce this waiting period & can I go with one pay stub?
I was thinking if I can request the employer to give me weekly pay stubs for first two and later on roll me back to biweekly ones, in this case I’ll get two pay stubs at the end of 4 weeks.
Will this be ok, as my employer normally follow biweekly pattern & I’ll be submitting weekly pay stubs?
How many minimum pay stubs should be ok to go ahead of filing?
