Just found that my wife's oath ceremony letter came to our home. BUT not mine. We both had interview same day and filed eveything together. Could mine be missing in mail or they are checking something on my name?

BTW the oath is on May 13th at 8 am.

I am now really worried. Can I still hope that I will get a letter before May 13th? Damn!

Here is another thing. The letter that came by to my wife did not mention what to bring.

It was like a piece of blank paper. It contains to address (ours and her name) and below that the court address time and date. There is no form number and there is her A# from green card on top right corner. On the reverse usual questions.

There are about 4 or 5 "X" marks on first page but the marks have no text beside them. I am not sure if this is negligance or usual but they did not mention what to bring. Of course from this forum we know what to take with us but this letter is simply dumb! It says on the reverse that we should bring all details that were mentioned on revers. Except "X" marks there is nothing else mentioned.

I plan to write a masala letter to USCIS after I get my citizenship certificate *AND* passport. I am sure the masala would *NOT* touch any of those sitting in the air conditioned offices at our expense. It could just go straight to hell - er the dust bin.
 
WBC - After you get your naturalization certfificate, why do you want to spend more time with USCIS writing a 'masala letter'? :D

Don't you think they should know how they are ditching the public and how awful public feel about their service?

Do you honestly think they don't know. This agency is a PERFECT example of a red tape affected agency and writing nice or strict letters wont make any difference. But write if it makes u feel better
