military record in the interview for DV men

Any body know the reason of asking for the military record in the interviw for the DV 2007 , I dont know why the USA embassy in cairo is asking for these military record , is that to get the military history of those winners or to make sure that they finished thier military servies
If any body has any information please tell us
my problem that i am living to canada as Permenant residant and i have no time to go back to egypt for these military record doccuments , i will only go to egypt for just 14 day for the interview, i got already a military record but it is expiered 1 year ago and i have been here in canada for more than one year and half , to get an updated military record in egypt it takes more than 40 day
so i am asking what is the main reason of asking for the military record for men in USA embassy in cairo

i think that its so important to show ur military certificate in the day of the interview

i dont know ,,,u should contact the embassy to ask them about this

my military status is POSTPONED

does this make any problem to get the visa ????????????

if your father in cairo he can do it for you send him a copy of your old certificate and he can go and get you the new one by just showing his ID (Betakah) ,so when you get back to Egypt you find it ready ...
i did it b4... i live in KSA and i went to Egypt without the old military certificate and without my id .
first of all the officer told me it will take 1 month ... i go and get back with a very good 'Wastah' ... he did it in the same day :)
so , try to find a good 'Wastah ' ... it will work isa

i have one question if they find that i have not all my doccuments or they want some more doccuments what they will do
will they give me another interview date , and after how long day they will make it
