Middle name missing on passport

I received my passport today but they did not put my middle name on the passport as my naturalization certificate does not have my middle name. I had sent my application with my middle name. My birth cert has my first name only as child's name and hence IO did not put my middle name (my father's first name) on naturalization cert.

I believe I have 2 options:
1. To keep everything the way it is now or
2. Opt for legal name change to add middle name by court order to regain middle name ( process takes 30-40 days at best AFAIK)

Is there any other option available?
And what are the disadvantages of not having middle name on passport?

None that I could think of. You're register as a US Citizen with the name that appears on your Certificate so that should be the name that you show up on databases.
