Dear Friends,
It has been a really long and arduous journey but finally we have our passports stamped and now waiting for the all elusive green card in the mail. My journey started in 1998 with the H1b and I have been on this forum since then. Not a very active member but visited it atleast 10 times a day....
To complicate matters my file was transfered to Miami District Office for Interview and even the officer that interviewed me was the one that does not approve cases on the day of the interview and takes about 2 to 3 weeks after that. And then he was off for a week on sick leave, but to make a long story short, yesterday my attorney was at the Miami Office and made an inquiry and he asked her for the passports and returned them stamped. And informed her to tell us to wait for the green card in the mail.
I wanted to thank all the senior members and Mr.Khanna and his fabulous team for helping me keep my sanity for the past 6 years.
And to all the new members it is getting better for you guys. I have no complaints because I have seen cases here that have waited longer than me and I wish they all get through this painful journey and enjoy the fruits of their labour.
Cheers
If there is anyway I can give anything back to this forum feel free to contact me.
