Met with the IO today

I had an infopass today as I do not trust USCIS answers.

I was told my name check was initiated in Oct. 2005 and still pending.
Recently I had an LUD on 08/23 on my case and IO could not tell me what it is/was for. I was afraid what if my name check was never started?

In any case, I do not think it 's a GREAT news.
 
IO @ local office told me the same thing........
even though first Name Check was done in 2004 as per FBI email reply but IO saying it was initiated in 2005 and still pending...
but when i called today IO @ TSC told me on phone all clear but visa is not assigned to the case.
 
My NC is still pending too. Usually the inforpass office or the reply from your congrassman gave the more acurate status of your name check, my reply from our congrassman is : NC started at 10/18/2005 and still pending.
 
My NC was stated on 10/17/05 and per IO still pending.

Not sure whay me and american_Dream had an LUD on 08/23/07. Any possible guesses?

I tried to call TSC to know the same but no IO available :-(.
