UN,

First of all I am very sorry people have treated you this way. I personally find your posts very useful and educational.

Having said that, people here are selfish, they want GC, they want to prove their wisdom. Most of them are young blood. Please forgive them it is kind of hard to be smart of powerful. Knowledge is power, many are ignorant and they keep ranting about others.

When you are knowledgeable and get so many calls emails, I personally understand as a human being you cannot cater to everybody's messages.

Some jokers want you out but they want to keep reading your messages. I mean that had to have amused you. I know you do not have to deal with all this low level I do not know what they call this these days....

With my limited knowledge and experience in life, I believe there are other serious immigrants who like to follow the law, hear what is says, then abide by it.....sometimes in our daily life it is hard for people like me to know what is out there at no cost to me. Your posts have been direct (some do not like it), it is better to know all the details now than later.

I cannot force you to stay but do what you got to do, however in case you leave I just wanted to thank you and appreciate you before you leave.

My 2 cents

Well I have am a silent observer of this forum, what in technical parlance is know as a "lurker". I do have a couple of posts but not much in case you guys want to check my history.

Well I too had an rfe on my I140 and did send a private message to UN, but there was no correspondence which I understand was due to his busy schedule and have no grudge about it. I can understand I was asking for free advice. Anyway got a lawyer answered the RFE and have got it approved.

The above details are just to provide my background.

Well in the present controversies or fires I have a few things to say.

1. When a person becomes a leader and gives (in)valuable advice or guidance in bad times he is definitely appreciated and we mortal human beings try to follow him or his words like nectar from heaven.
And whoever assumes such a position has to learn( or have ) three most important things to be more successful or have peace so as not to start fires.
Humility, Be Ego Less and be diplomatic.
The above things are difficult but not impossible to adapt to and are fundamentals of Leadership 101.
I did find all this missing in case of UN. And yes you guys can argue with me nobody told you to read his analysis, write to him, or comment etc... There is no end to this.

2. People this is public forum, here we come to share our ideas and thoughts. But at the end we need to take our own well informed decisions with the help of lawyers, friends etc. And we are responsible for the outcome no matter what.

So people please grow up and stop flaring each other, calling names etc. If you don't agree to someones view, or make them see to your view then side step, and improve your convincing skill instead of calling names.

3. Nobody in the world is so big or important or 'know all', we alll are human beings and we do not need to prostrate in front of another one. Have some diginity. Life goes on and you will find somebody else to ask information from.

4. Please maintain the decorum of the forum,

he has researched ton of stuff which none of us could do...

he did end up making money out of it......but i wish people grow up and start accusing some one of making money by doing a legit thing....

people like UN and Ginnu and few others have helped me with so much guidance that i was able to weave through a self file I-140, H1 transfer after Adv parole etc....

but the problem with UN is he tries to speak too much of straight bitter truth......which GC waiters dont like to listen since that creates a storm in their optimistic mind because they cannot imagine life without GC....

i have seen people bow before politicians, rock stars, some big CEO and some religius leader who has not helped them in any way neither will......

and the leadership 101 you are talking about is something implemented by politicians and back stabbing business leaders..............when time comes we are all capable of leading that double faced life.........but luckily we are on this forum for no-profit..........pure straight talk....

we are not interested in leading the masses (sheeps) to some enlightenment........we will be glad if they can digest raw truth....and learn to live with it....

to tell u the fact....i dont see EGO in any of his comment.....he is just give straight out of his mind......with no embellishment.........based on facts he knows........

if i am not wrong......he is able to earn around 300k(just a guess) by giving immigration consulation................and to think that he was ignorent about immigration law around 3 years back........if you dont think that man is smart.....we need to redefine smart......

Being knowledgeable and providing guidance is fine and greta but it is diffrent from calling someone names, and asking their credibility (where nobody is running for a post like presidency ) is outright arrogant and egoistic.
If a person cannot sidestep at such points then they are trouble makers IMHO no matter how good the intentions.
 
Just somebody making 300K or a million in giving immigration information does not mean that I should take all advice as holy and that person does have any right to humility anybody on a public free forum.

In most of the posts that UN has made he has always asked for you to come up with a counter argument or proofs as to what they are talking. If it is all hot air then its their job to prove their credibility and not get back with no information. If you come to the boards people will ask you questions and its upto you to prove them wrong. Simply going on a rhetoric just shows what that person is. UN has always given proofs/links/documents to support his claims unlike others.

Like how we all grumble here - the economy will fall if we leave the US.

If anyone can argue to the point yes then its worthwhile.. otherwise its just a waste of time for themselves and others.

you need to get the context of how things got ugly...

UN had to counter some one's allegation that his opinion is not right/worthless/bullshit........then he had to state his credentials vs the other's credentials....

i dont think stating people's worth/credentials is name calling...

i would say end of discussion........because UN has deleted all his posts........and now we cannot even see what lead to the showdown...

This thread was started to get UNs attention and thank him not to harass him and drag his name into mud. So please take it easy move on...look on the other side....we all know you are all bright.

I guess if USA has hired you, you have got to be bright. So let us stop the small fight and focus on using our energies for something that is forthcoming.

And please ignore and spare my innocense and ignorance in this matter.

is it so difficult to accept the fact that UN is better than most of us??

does it hurt our ego so much that we just want to throw dirt at anyone who can challenge our might??

i wonder if there are any psyche majors....who can do some analysis...

Define "better". He may know more about immigration matters, but does that make him a better person?

My 2 cents

Now I know Why u don't discuss that much. If you don't like his(UN) suggestions it's up to you. Don't need to be disrepect him. He help so many people here in this fourm.
