Did you ever receive a written notice of approval from the TSC. You are the only EB3 case that has been approved during this retrogression period. I am curious to find out if everything has gone smoothly.

Please post as soon as you get notice. You have given me so much hope that my case might be approved too (retrogressed and all) Miracles do happen...and I prayed so much for one. I always thought I would get GC approved before the birth of my second son...then the lack of visa numbers attacked. I'm 2 weeks far of giving birth...maybe he'll bring my GC along!!!!!

I hope your son brings 485 approval for you. Sometimes good things happen all at one!! There is a saying in Inida: Jab Bhagwan deta hai to chappar phar ke deta hai (When God gives, he gives a lot!!)

We are also expecting a daughter in the next 2months, and are hoping she brings good luck and freedom with her.

so far I did not receive the approvel notice yet. :eek:

Any one knows how long it takes ? Should I call TSC? Any suggestion?

It can take a week

I have known notices to take about a week and sometimes more. Wait till next week and then start to inquire.

The only doubt I have is that your EB3 case was "technically" not supposed to have been approved because of the unavailabity of visas so you want to make sure that the email was not sent in error. If you do not receive the written approval notice within the next week it might indicate that something weird is going on. Don't get me wrong, I truly hope you have been approved but with TSC you always have to watchout. That has been my experience thus far.

Just let you know. I got the approval notice. :D
I tried to walk-in for PP stamps, the guard did NOT let me in. :mad: He said that he does not care what reason. He would not let me in unless I have the appointment.

I talked to my attnoey. He told me that the orginal approval notice has same affect as PP stames. I am not sure it is true or not.


Any idea?

Great to hear that you got the notice. Congratulations. As for the PP stamping your lawyer is not correct. You need to get your PP stamped before you travel. As far as I know you cannot substitute it with the approval notice.

WOW!!!! you are my hero. You have an incredible story to tell to the world!!! I also heard today from a friend who has a friend that was approved on 08/01/05 an also EB3! So they might be some numbers left, who knows?
Anyway, I wish you all the luck in the world on pp stamping (which I heard is does need a previous appointment-infopass)
