Hello SDKUMAR, when you went to India to get your H1B stamped, did they give you your passport back and then ask you to come back in 30-45 days? Please let me know. I also got a DUI and will be going to India in December to get my H1B stamped.

Yes, Passport was given

Yes, the passport was given back to me with 221(g) written on the last page of the passport. They asked me to fill a form with my relevant details and took fingerprints and informed me not to make any new appointment.
After 30 days they sent me a postal letter informing me to come back on any Monday.. Luckily for me it took 30 days (including weekends).
