I did my second FP and thought will share my experience. My second FP notice was issued in 10 days after the expiration of my first FP (15 months).
Did go to North Dallas office before the date indicated on the FP notice as I did for the first FP. This time the folks there were very adamant about the date and sent me back.
I went to South Dallas a week later and they did my FP though they did saw the date and I had to talk to them. I just wanted to do at the earliest as I waited long enough.
INS site update that they received mine and wife's FP on May 14th, 2003.
Waiting since then for the good day.

Actually i got my FP notice on Oklahoma address. But now a days i am residing in Dallas. What do you think...shall i go to South dallas next week and will they allow me to do my 2nd FP.
I have one valid reason not goin' to oklahoma. My new born baby is 15 days old only and also my wife is not in a position to commute that long. Shall i give a shot???

Hi,
As per the FP notice I had to go to Jamaica NY for the second FP on the 29th of May. I went on May 17th and the officer/security gave me a pretty hard time. He refused to listen to me and the only thing he had to say was come back on your appointment date. Luckily I was able to convince him and got the FP done on May 17th instead of the 29th. My online status has now been updated to FP received on May21 2003...... and the waiting has begun.
