Gentleman,

Today I notice that my status in this forum became member insteady of the old one that was junior member. What is the criteria for change from junior to member and them to senior?
If it is time it means that I am around long time and in that case I do not want to became a senior because it will mean that my GC will take forever...
My wish is all of us that are here long to be approved tomorrow,
then of course we would not abandon the forum because those that come behind us would need our support to go throught this night metter. However our status could became veteran graduate
which would mean that we are alredy approved and have our GC in hand.

A correction -
Mesg count between 40 & 99 means Member
Mesg count 100 and above means Senior Member.

And Mesg count 1000 means Eligible to be Volunteer Moderator.
No wonder Tombaan posts so many messages...:D

my secret is out. once i become eligible to volounter next step is finger print and then green card:D :D :D :D

It is good discussion since we do not have anything to talk about. I cannot believe that TSC would sit relax like this when there is a need for action.

My fellow filers, I do not think there is any thing wrong we talking about something else besides our drama. It is not a matter of sit back and relex as you mention. However, what actions you think we can really take? Sue? Talk to politicians? Send out petitions? We have done all that and are still doing...
However sometimes we need to remind ourselves that to immigrate to the US is a previlege not a right, they will grant it to us if they want to. We might be able to force them to process our petitions faster, It does not mean that they will approve them.
Just imagine if it was the other way around, we were at home and millions of alliens trying to immigrate to our countries to take have a share of thye wealth and structure our parents and grand-parents built. Would you reluctated to give green cards to all this people?
I am for any action that would expedite our approvals. However I think it must to be done carefuly otherwise actions may be turned againt us. For example, the backlog may be easily solved if they starting dening a buch of petitions. To deny not much explanation is needed from the officers, they may just say no and to justify they could just say that it is a security concern. Do you think that with all this bad economy your company is going to fight for you against US government? In some case they would but for the majority they would problably not.

Please do not take me wrong because I am one of you with the same problem. I might loose my job anytime and I would be in deep trouble like everybody else. Also I already lost some opportunities to go to some other jobs and make more money or live in a better state and I am frustated as you are. But the reality of the GC process for employment based theory is that somebody is willing to exponsor you for a permanent job with no time to end, in theory a life time job was offered to you and as long we are able to work to satisfy that need you we are not priority.
