medicals problem

Guys,

I am having cp interview shortly and we went for the medicals. As my wife is pregnant they got her skin test done which turned out to be doubtful and hence, they have told that an X-ray would be reqd. X-ray can be done only after delivery (to be on the safe side) or now with proper lead protection.
They have also said that most 90% of indians get this test either doubtful/positive, but US laws makes it mandatory they have to do the skin test.

My question is , as the hospital guys has not given my wife's medicals, will it effect anything in the interview? or her GC-packet will be withheld with the remarks "incomplete documentation" and later when she can do x-ray, she can submit her medicals and get the GC-packet?

Anybody with similar problem?

Any early help will be highly appreciated.

hi,
one of my friend had similar experience but not directly related to pregnancy.she had TB around 5-6 yrs back which she informed at med so she was advised for sputum test along with xray.next day when she went for interview(without her med.report),consular informed that interview can't be conducted until she provides her med.report.she got her report one week after actual interview date and again went to consulate(chennai) and with her med.report(which came out to be negative)her visa was issued.
hope this could be of some help.

was she the primary client ?
was the interview re-scheduled or the consulate said "incomplete documentation" and that the concerned person can come any working day; submit the medical report; get the IV envolope.
i guess there is a difference in the entire interview getting re-scheduled or "incomplete documentation.

Many thanks

hi,
yes she was the primary client.her interview was not conducted same day so may be it was rescheduled(not sure).actually she was asked to come again next week with her med report.

Anyone has the list of things done at time of Medical Checkup. I am thinking of doing it in US as a prelimary checkup for me and my wife.

Thanks

{ There is nothing called list of things, check the one recommend on the USCIS website and take a appointment and get it done. Every doctor check differently.

A suggestion, I don't see a reason of getting it done here anyways you need to get it done from the one listed by the American consulate and it is not going to help you much but just double the expense }

Thanks
