I applied for immigration in March 2005. Last month, I was notified that my file is transferred to LA. I've not heard from them since then. I may have to go to India for 6-7 months early next month for some work related stuff. I've following questions:
Can I go for the medicals from India or do I have to do it in USA only? i.e. do they give a list of certain doctors, you can get your medicals done OR is there a list of doctors in and out of USA from which you can get your Medicals done?
How long generally it takes to get a reply from LA? How can I find out about my status? It has been almost 2 months now.
