Medical Test

My I-485 is pending for two years in TSC. I submitted my application without the medical test record. Now I have got my finger printing notice. I have got my medicals done in May-2002. Should I send the medical test rec. now? More importantly, I want to know how long does the medical record remain valid? I have heard all versions from 3 months to 15 months. Pls. confirm.

Thanks. :)

It is hard to say. You can send the medicals now with a cover letter listing details of your case (Case number, Received date, Notice date, Name, birthday, address, Aliend number, etC). But still it may get lost. I think you can take the risk to send it now to save time. If you get RFE later, just do the medicals again.

It is valid for 1 year in your hand. It is valid until your I-485 approval in TSC's hand. This means you can not hold the medicals for more than 11 months (suppose one month to TSC).

Hello Gking,

Thanks a lot for the info. The suggestion sounds perfect to me. I have been waiting for such a long time for my I-485 approval (26 months, still no light on the horizon). It's so frustrating. Thanks again for your help.
