Hi Folks,

My lawyer filed for 485 without medical documents. What do u think would be the outcome. My lawyer says they will send an RFE for medical results, we will do it then.

Anybody with this experience.

Gurus please express your opinions.
 
Not a bright idea

I would certainly not recommend this. The process of getting an RFE only delays your application approval unnecessarily.

In my case, I got an RFE for medical b/c the lawyer forgot to sign off on the immunizations. The RFE was generated on 8/1/01. The lawyer only received RFE around 8/20/01. I have since made several trips to the doctor\'s office b/c they keep screwing up. Latest news is that I must wait for lab results to be returned. Medical person that completes INS forms is also sick. So wait continues. I keep getting angry when I think that my case may have been approved except for some incompetent doctor\'s office.

I would suggest to all that medical results be submitted when I-485 application is submitted. Also have a serious discussion w/ your lawyer!
 
i am in same situation too

does anybody know what\'s the best time to take the medical examination? right now or wait until i got medical RFE.
