Medical Test Location?

Hello,
This is with regards to Location for Medical Test. Due to my nature of work, I have moved temporaryly from my home state to another state. Since I got the letter from the Immigration office last month to get my medicals done before the interview. I would like to know know whether I can take the medical test anywhere in US?
Also, Can a we apply for the FBI Clearence from this temp Address that we are staying now using the permanent address?

you can take the medicals at any place in the world as long as you visit one of the designated medical practioner listed by CIC. you can find the list in their website. so there is no limitation that you need to undergo medicals only in the city of your residence at the time of applying.

regarding the FBI clearance, i guess it should be ok as long as you are able to prove that you live at your temp. address, like a utility bill or a rental agreement or if staying in hotel, the room rent receipt, etc. so you should be ok, good luck.

My Interview is waived off. Do I still have to wait for 6 months before I can do the medicals??

just a word of caution. If I remember correctly, someone here had a problem with his/her re-medicals. Remedicals may have to be done at the exact same place that you get medicals done initially. And they may be requested by CIC a few months after you've submitted your original medicals. In that case, you need to make sure you can reach your original practitioner after that lapse in time. Search the forum for more info on this, since my memory fails me.
